Our Story
How it started...
It started in Sitges in September 2025, with two friends at Bear Week and one line: "We need to find more Black guys this year."So we made it a mission. Every time we spotted Black men in town, we walked up, introduced ourselves, and swapped Instagrams. Ww were basically collecting people like Pokémon.Then one day at Buenos Aires Grill, we spotted two more guys, invited them over to our table, and just got to talking. Somewhere in that conversation, out of nowhere, the name came up: Black Sitges. That's when it really started.What we are (and what we're not)We were born in Sitges, and Bear Week every September is our home base. But Black Sitges isn't an event company or anything formal. It's a community.It lives in the group chat all year: photos from trips, "who's in Puerto Vallarta next month?", "anybody live in Houston?", meetups in cities all over the world. Some of us see each other far more than once a year now.However you found us, you have people here.
We are a community of Black men who connect at Bear Week and stay connected all year.
We are an IG page full of trip photos, city check-ins, and "who's around?" messages.
We are the people you meet up with in Houston, Puerto Vallarta, Palm Beach, London, Paris, Atlanta, NYC, wherever life takes you.
We're not exclusive. If you're a Black man coming to Sitges, you're already one of us.
Nobody should have to find their people by accident.
